Safe & Efficient Charging with Intellichip
The TU2153A USB Outlet is equipped with smart Intellichip, which reads the power needs of devices connected to the USB ports to deliver optimal power. Intellichip charges at the optimal power allowed by the device, so your devices are protected from overcharging and overheating. Each USB port can reach up to 2.4A individually, with a maximum 3.1A output when both USB ports are in use. Charging is now more convenient and efficient. (Does not support fast charge technology).
Free Up Space
Users can charge up to two devices simultaneously while leaving the two outlets free for other power needs. The two USB ports have a total 3.1A power capacity, with IntelliChip safe charging built-in.
Easy Installation
The USB wall outlet is back and side wired for wide compatibility with diverse wiring needs. The TU2153A can fit in any standard in-wall outlet box and is also compatible with standard decorator wall plates (sold separately).
Safety
Tamper-resistant receptacles feature an internal shutter mechanism that prevents unwanted objects from being inserted into the receptacle for increased child safety.
Accepted Usage
The USB ports on all USB outlets in the market, including TOPGREENER’s, are not rated to charge laptops. Bulky plugs and adapters can be used, but they may block access to the USB ports.

I am not an electrician nor am I a handy man. With that said I was able to install this receptacle in 10 minutes and I didn’t burn the house down testing afterwards. It was a tight fit when installed in the existing box but it fit. The item received was exactly as described.

The outlet worked exactly as it should. I installed four of them and they are all good. This tamper-resistant outlet does not fight you when you plug something in, like so many of them on the market do. The USB ports have a nice fast charging time. I would highly recommend these for anyone looking for a good USB outlet at a reasonable price.

I was really excited to get these outlets, but I am a little disappointed I didn’t do more research. i like the concept and how it’s built but it doesn’t charge as fast as I would have liked. I found out tht if I wanted faster charging i should have boughten the 5 amperage one. Why even make a version that isn’t as high power as it can be? If you charge your things over night then this may be ok for you because you won’t notice the speed. I may see if they will allow me to trade for a different version.

A practical solution to modern-day problems. They charge fast and look great! I had some issues installing some of these as they are bulky and occupy way more space than a regular receptacle but with couple of beers and a ton of patience I was able to complete the job.
