Bathroom Humidity Sensor Switch for Exhaust Fan: TDHS5-W

The TOPGREENER TDHS5 is a humidity sensor switch that automatically controls the ventilation fan to reduce moisture in the air and condensation on the walls. Prevent mold and mildew caused by excess humidity from forming and stop having to run your bathroom fan all day. The humidity sensor works by detecting moisture in the air to automatically turn the ventilation fan on or off based on the moisture level. Perfect for bathrooms, laundry rooms, spas, or any other room with high humidity levels.

Excess humidity in a room causes the growth of mold, mildew, and fungi. Using this humidity sensor switch for the bathroom fan helps remove excess moisture, thereby preventing mold and bacteria.

The TDHS5 intelligently monitors the moisture levels in the room and efficiently controls the ventilation fan. Keep your home fresh and energy-efficient with the TDHS5 Humidity Sensor Switch!

Operation & Settings
During operation, the fan automatically turns on and off according to the humidity level detected by the sensor. Enter programming mode and change sensor settings with one button. Three different humidity detection levels allow users to program the switch based on the level of moisture in the environment.

Bypass the Sensor
To bypass the humidity sensor, simply press the manual button to turn the fan off while it is running. The humidity sensor will stop detection until the switch is reset. This override feature provides manual control when the fan is not wanted.

Reset the Sensor
To reset the sensor, use the manual button to turn the fan on. It will run for 30 minutes and automatically turn off, and the sensor will resume humidity detection. Any program changes affecting humidity will also reset the sensor.

  1. Frederick

You can adjust the humidity level and on tme without easy to change t.without having to take it apart. The manual switch is nice to the touch. I can’t say about accuracy. Installation is difficult because the unit is bulky and one has to rearrange the wiring in the box to squeeze it in. It takes up about 80% of the space directly behind the switch. But all these humidistats are like this.

  2. Michael

The program is soon lost if someone turns on the fan. What a bad design. There are no simple provisions for someone to stink up the bathroom (as often happens) and turn on the fan without loosing the program.

  3. Joe

Set to highest humidity level and kicks on after about 2 minutes of being in the shower. Just let it run and let it go off itself. One less thing to have to manage by turning on and off. Nice creature comfort. Easy to install

  4. Mario V Lightford

Works perfect I don’t have any issues with it. Bathroom fan turns on and off automatically when humidity is detected. Installation was easy also.

  5. Ron

Very easy to install and works as intended…the only thing i would change is if somebody presses the fan button to off before the switch cuts it off automatically, it will stop detecting…the instruction says you have to let it run on purpose for 30min to get it to detect again. Otherwise it works great.
