Motion Sensor Switch, PIR Sensor with Ambient Light Level
The TOPGREENER TDOS5-JM Motion Sensor Switch automatically turns lights and loads ON and OFF according to the motion detected in the room. An easy replacement for any indoor light switch, the PIR motion sensor automates your lighting to bring your home into the modern age. The programming controls are located under the face cover of the device, and include a sensor range dial, a time delay dial, and a press-button that changes between Occupancy (OCC) and Vacancy (VAC) modes. In occupancy mode, lights are automatically turned ON when you enter a room and automatically turned OFF when the room is vacant. Alternatively, vacancy mode requires the light switch to be turned ON manually, but it will shut OFF automatically after the room is vacant for a preselected amount of time. This time delay can be easily adjusted from 15 seconds (TEST) to 30 minutes.
In addition to occupancy and vacancy modes, this auto light switch can also control the lighting intelligently with CDS technology. The sensor switch is made with built-in ambient light level sensors that will prevent the lights from turning ON when there is enough natural light in the space already. The technology is also capable of learning and adapting to user behavior. If the light switch is activated automatically and the user turns it OFF within 15 seconds, the sensor will remember the light level at which the switch was turned OFF and prevent it from turning ON at that level again. This motion-sensing wall switch is ideal for rooms that you enter with your hands full, such as a residential entryway, laundry room, garage, kitchen, or pantry. The sensor switch will also help you conserve energy by ensuring the light is never left on by mistake. This PIR sensor switch has a 180° field of view and is best suited for spaces up to 1200 square feet. This product is UL listed and includes a one-year warranty.
