In-Wall Humidity Sensor and Motion Sensor Dual Control Fan/Light Switch: TDHOS5-W
To keep your home’s humidity at the right level, you can rely on the TDHOS5. The TDHOS5 is a dual tech humidity and passive infrared motion sensor switch for separate fan and light control, as well as a bathroom fan timer wall switch. This motion sensor switch can make your home more convenient, giving you the fullest control over your home.
The TDHOS5 is equipped with both a PIR and humidity sensor. This sophisticated system takes care of managing two of the most common issues in high-humidity areas: fan use and lighting. Rather than having separate controls for each, the TDHOS5 automates both in a single unit. Also, the TDHOS5 includes a range of smart features that save you time and hassle, ultimately delivering long-term value for your property.
Motion Sensor-Controlled Lighting
The PIR sensor features occupancy and vacancy modes. Occupancy mode provides automatic On/Off control of lights or vent fan based on motion detected in the room. Use the occupancy sensor when you want full automation of your light and ventilation fan. In vacancy mode, the lights or vent fan is manually turned on, and when no motion has been detected for the set time, the vacancy sensor will automatically turn off the light or fan.
Smart Fan Controls For Managing Humidity
No longer will you have to keep your fan running all day after a shower to get rid of the condensation in the air. The TDHOS5’s humidity sensor works by detecting moisture in the air, automatically turning the fan on/off based on the moisture level. The fan will continue to operate for the minimum time set or until the humidity in the room is reduced.
Excess humidity in a room causes the growth of mold, mildew, and fungi. Using this humidity sensor switch for the bathroom fan eliminates excess moisture, in turn, eliminating mold and bacteria. Humidity-sensing technology monitors the moisture levels in a room to intelligently and efficiently control the ventilation fan. Keep your bathroom, laundry room, spa, and shower fresh and energy-efficient with the TDHOS5 Motion Humidity Sensor Switch.
Energy-Efficient And Cost-Effective Performance
Remodeling can be inevitable, and sometimes that requires changing out our switches and receptacles for a different color. Maybe your sensor switch is experiencing cosmetic wear and tear, but the humidity and occupancy sensor is still working fine.
Applications
The TOPGREENER TDHOS5 Humidity Sensor Switch is ideal for bathroom fans and lights. It’s also an excellent choice for laundry rooms, spas, and any other humidity-prone space with a combination ventilation fan and light control.
Whether it’s in a home or in a commercial property such as a hotel, the TDHOS5 will work seamlessly with your existing hardware and lighting fixtures. As an integrated humidity/motion sensor switch, this product works well alongside smart lighting and other sophisticated automation systems.

I’ve installed it in the kids bathroom and it works like a charm. I don’t have to start the fan to air out humidity every time they get out and I don’t have to check behind them to make sure the turned off the fan or lights. One of the best purchases I made on amazon.

I would give this a 5 star review, but they’re a pain to install. They work well once it’s in, but you’ve gotta get it in first. What makes it difficult to install are the bulk ones if the combo switch as well as the weird wiring. A better diagram would be helpful

I love this switch! I installed this in my kids’ bathroom. They were always leaving the light on, so I wanted a vacancy sensor; but with the light and fan switch in the same box I couldn’t use a normal switch. This is perfect, not only because the vacancy switch works just as designed, but the humidity-controlled fan works perfectly to de-steam the place after my teenager’s overly long showers. Makes me wish I had this in my master bedroom!

The switch works as intended & half the price of comparable, easy to use wiring diagram. I would re-order again!

Great for my small bathroom – the previous electric switch ended up in the shower, (that we added), so this worked perfect on the opposite wall. Not much humidity in CO, but you can turn on the fan any time you want anyway. We’ll see how the Humidity sensor works this winter when the shower will add heat and humidity with closed window.
